The Founders Circle is the community of American patrons who found and sustain the work of Western Civilization Fund. Its members back Europe’s conservative champions: the founders and institutions defending free speech, faith, family, sovereign nations, and free enterprise. Together, they are the founding generation of the fund.

America and Europe are one civilization, and its inheritance is now contested in the lands where it began. Members of the Founders Circle stand with the Europeans building the institutions to defend it.

Membership levels

Membership is annual and open to gifts of every size, from $100 a year. Each level includes the benefits of the levels before it.

    Friend

    $100 a year

    For all who wish to stand with the work from its first days.

    • The Founders Circle letter: regular reports from Europe on the founders and institutions the fund supports

Benefits are offered in thanks and are kept deliberately modest. Grants are made at the sole discretion of Western Civilization Fund: membership carries no role in grant decisions, and gifts cannot be designated for a particular grantee.

    Donor-advised fund

    You may recommend a grant to Western Civilization Fund from your donor-advised fund. Write to us for the details your sponsor will need.

    Family foundation

    Private and family foundations may make grants to the fund as a public charity. We will gladly provide whatever your foundation requires.

  3. 03

    Stock and cryptocurrency

    Gifts of appreciated stock or cryptocurrency can be arranged. Please contact us first.

    Corporate gifts

    Companies may give directly or match the gifts of their employees. Contact us to arrange.

Important information

Western Civilization Fund is a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity. Contributions are charitable donations, tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, and do not constitute an investment or carry any financial return.

Grants are made at the sole discretion of Western Civilization Fund. Members and donors have no role in grant decisions, and gifts cannot be designated for a particular grantee.

Where a member receives goods or services in return for a gift, we will tell you their estimated value, which may reduce the deductible amount.

Western Civilization Fund is independent and is not affiliated with, or acting on behalf of, any government. No part of any gift is used to support or oppose any political party or candidate, or in any election campaign.
